Psychological Testing: Level A
Our training course, which can be tailored to your needs, will provide training leading to the fulfillment of requirements for the British Psychological Society Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing (Level A).
Includes:
- Course manual containing seven independent modules suitable for distance learning as required.
- Recommended reading list and access to BPS Test Reviews and our Test library, which includes samples of Tests in use, guides to testing and handbooks on Test Administration.
- Assessment Portfolio. Practice test materials. Test House Catalogues.
- Course text book - Mark Cook & Barry Cripps "Psychological Assessment in the Workplace: A Manager's Guide."
- Tutoring/Supervision. Discussion of tests applicable to your requirements and particular to your workplace.
- Test users helpline. We provide a helpline for people whom we have trained.
3 Day Course at Yarner Training Centre plus pre-course reading to be signed off and application sent to The British Psychological Society for your certificate.

Distance Learning Course 2 days face to face at Yarner Training Centre plus portfolio completion of 7 units in your own time over 1 month
All portfolio pages are now available as Word attachments, so I can e-mail them to you for completion in your own time. Face to face time will be spent on:-
- Overviews of each unit
- Test Administration demonstration and practice
- My observation of you giving feedback
- The course requires about 40 hours study in total.
Deposit payable 2 weeks before first day of course. Dates to be agreed in advance and booked upon payment of deposit. Balance payable on completion or within 3 months of commencement.
Extras:
Travel at current rates and subsistence, if workplace or attendance away required.
To be paid by the Individual, cheque to The BPS for printed certificate and registration
for The Level A Certificate of Competence to Test.
A reduction is available for groups. Maximum number 9 delegates. Please let us quote for a group booking at your venue
